Happy 2025! My heart is full as I look back over the last year! I felt God nudging me to write and illustrate a children’s book….I listened to that nudge, and my journey began! The Night of Christmas Miracles became a reality when it was published this past February 2024.

Wow! What a whirlwind these last few months have been! Writing and illustrating a book is certainly challenging…but marketing my book was a new

learning experience! I am grateful for the expertise of friends and my family… who led me, encouraged me, cheered me on, and loved me throughout this whole endeavor. But mainly, I give thanks to God for planting a seed and giving me the ability and courage to pursue something totally out of my comfort zone. 

I’ve sold 890 books in 2024, made new friends, read my book to hundreds of people, reconnected with former students and parents, and am humbled by the help and love I have received. 

It is such a joy and honor to use the proceeds from the The Night of Christmas Miracles to help The Children’s Hospital Foundation, St. Teresa’s School in Uganda, the Church of the Epiphany’s Youth Group, “The Outreach Book Program” which provides books for five schools in the Lake Gaston area, and “Women Period.”

So…it is with a full heart and an abundance of gratitude that I thank my readers, my family, my friends, and especially God, for loving me throughout this new and exciting journey. I am blessed!
